How it works

From first draft to final decision.

Six steps describe the proposal workflow Proposio is built around. Each one exists because it is a place where proposals usually slow down.

The six steps

  1. Step 01

    Choose a starting point.

Use an existing template, duplicate an appropriate previous structure or begin with a clean proposal.

  2. Step 02

    Build the proposal.

Use reusable content where it belongs and customise the opportunity-specific sections.

  3. Step 03

    Review together.

Collect comments and revisions around one proposal.

  4. Step 04

    Request approval.

Move the proposal into review and make the final internal decision explicit.

  5. Step 05

    Send.

Share the web proposal or export the final PDF.

  6. Step 06

    Update the status.

Keep the proposal state current so the team can see where it stands.

Approval as a visible state

Most delays are not caused by writing. They are caused by nobody being sure whether a proposal is finished. Making the state explicit removes the guesswork.

Approval state

Operations assessment

Approval is an explicit state, not an assumption based on email silence. Select a state to see how the workflow is intended to read.

Product demonstration only. Selecting a state changes this illustration and nothing else.

The objective is not to automate every word.

It is to make the process around the proposal easier to control.
